From July 28th to 30th, the three-day 2016 Baoan Industry Development Expo (“Bao Expo”) will be held with the 2016 Shenzhen International Intelligent Equipment Industry Expo and Shenzhen International Electronic Equipment Industry Expo (“Smart Expo”). According to statistics, the "Bao Expo" attracted more than 156,000 people to visit and purchase, including about 37,000 overseas visitors; Bao'an District successfully signed 25 major projects with an agreement investment of nearly 70 billion yuan; the Expo also held more than 100 A series of high-level and high-quality activities.

"Bao Expo" is the most grand industrial event of the year in Bao'an District, which showcases Baoan's industrial development achievements, advanced image, future planning, competitive industries and characteristic products. With the theme of "Developing Intelligent Equipment and Achieving the Made in China 2025 Target", the "Smart Expo" fully demonstrated the achievements of Shenzhen and Bao'an District in implementing the national "One Belt One Road" development strategy and the development of the intelligent equipment industry. The three major exhibitions created a new platform for Baoan's industrial development and display, established a new image of Baoan's industrial highland, and achieved fruitful results. According to incomplete statistics, the three-day expo attracted 156,750 people to visit and purchase, of which overseas visitors accounted for 23.6%, reaching 36,987 people from Brazil, the United States, Sri Lanka, Finland, Italy, Germany, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, India, 52 countries including Pakistan and Russia.

 

"Bao Expo" adheres to the principle of "organization of exhibitions by enterprises and meetings by the government" and highlights the characteristics of "internationalization, specialization, branding and marketization" of the exhibition. 15 functional exhibition areas are set up in Hall 1 of Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. With a scale of 30,000 square meters, it highlights the characteristics of Bao'an District's "13th Five-Year Plan" blueprint and new round of industrial development paths and models, and highlights the characteristics of Bao'an's dominant industries. In addition to the exhibition, the Expo also hosted more than 100 series of high-level and high-quality events.
